Non-Residential Modeling Workshop

Non-Residential Sales and Income Modeling in SPSS – NRM02S 

A workshop for beginning to intermediate property valuation modelers. The five-day workshop consists of eleven sessions. Sessions include 40 to 60 minutes instruction of core concepts and 30 to 120 minutes of practical hands-on coding in SPSS. Live workshops will have opportunities for Q&A.

Participants work with a sample set of sales and income which requires scrubbing and transformation for use in a model. Data set includes attributes for Location; Transaction date; Type of Improvement; Building size; Lot size; Improvement Condition; Number of Floors; Class; Traffic; Unit Mix; Distance to and Distance to Transportation. By the end of the workshop, participants have built a simple, model that performs well, and will have templates for building sales and income models for Retail, Office Buildings, Apartments and Industrial and Multi-purpose properties. Participants will have an opportunity to build a model using either their own data or a typical set of data.

Live Instructor-led online. Workshop fee is $1,500 per seat.

Participants will be required to download and install SPSS (30 day trial versions are available) in advance of the workshop.
